The staff at David Crockett State Park would like to invite you to celebrate the beginning of a new and promising year with our annual First Day Hike! We will meet at the David Crockett Museum and hike ~2.5 miles along portions of the Shoal Creek Trail and Trail of Tears Trail. This guided hike will include hills and elevation changes as we traverse through the hardwoods and alongside Shoal Creek. We will then cut across and connect to the old road bed that served as Lawrenceburg's first highway, as well as John Bell's route of the Trail of Tears before returning to the museum for hot coco and fellowship! Please remember to wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and don't forget water!
