Amish Country

Pure and simple. That’s why the Amish love Lawrenceburg.

Lawrence County is home to the largest settlement of Old Order Amish in the South. It’s the most conservative branch of the Amish sect. That means no electricity, running water or gas engines (and no photos of people if you visit, please). The industrious community is a blessing for Lawrenceburg, providing handmade, artisan-quality products and homegrown produce for sale throughout the year. It’s a relaxing, interesting place to visit any time of the year.

The Amish Lodge

About

About this space

Welcome to the Amish Lodge where you can get all the cozy vibes to relax. We are located off highway 43 next to Amish Country where there are plenty of things to do like hiking, wagon ride tours, and shopping for Amish goods. In this 2 bed 1 bath lodge, you will find everything equipped in a typical house to feel right at home, and with the added amenities of the ping pong table, covered patio with a fireplace and grill, you can make memories for a lifetime with family or friends.

The space

We are located off of the main highway to town so if you are not used to the humming sounds of cars or the Amish buggies going by we do have a noise machine and extra fans for each bedroom. We are in rural Tennessee in a little nook of nature so it is not uncommon to see a few small animals or bugs. Especially inside if you leave doors or windows open. The lodge includes the same amenities you would find in a hotel and more to feel at home.

As of July 20, 2022 a ring doorbell has been installed on the red side door to help with check in if needed.

There are 2 bedrooms one with a king bed and a queen. The living room has a sectional couch and smart TV that you can stream Netflix off of. If we need to accommodate more than 4 people let us know and we will leave the queen-size air mattress there with extra sheets. The kitchen is equipped with about everything you would have in your own home and a washer and dryer. We do have a Keurig and supply some coffee pods. We also offer unlimited high-speed internet and should not have problems streaming. We are pet-friendly and have a one time $40 pet fee. If bringing more than 2 dogs each additional dog is a $10 add on. The bathroom and shower room should have everything and a little more than you would have in a hotel room. The covered patio has a built-in fireplace with wood provided to have a fire and make smores and a grill if you would like to barbeque.

Inside you will find a handbook with the house rules, things to do, where to eat, and grocery stores. We have put a lot of thought into the small details to make sure you experience a 5-star stay and if there is any way for us to improve or make it better in the future please let us know in our guest book or private comments.

If any house rules pertaining to, but not limited to, no smoking and/or no permitted parties/events, are not followed, you will owe a minimum $200 fee for cleaning or replacing damages. By booking our property, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and do not hold us liable for any accidents that may occur during your stay with us.

Guest access

You will have full access to the cabin and outside areas. Only restriction is the cleaners closet in the bathroom.
