DESCRIPTION:🏎 The adrenalin rush is real for not only the racers\, but every person in the crowd at Ethridge Motorsports Park. The Burleson family has been involved in drag racing and Ethridge Motorsports Park (formerly US 43 Dragway) since the 70's. With three generations involved in racing\, they made the decision a few years back to purchase the dragstrip and make improvements to keep it going for generations to come. Races are typically held each weekend from March to November with over 100 cars roaring and ready to go on a Saturday night. Each car you see at the dragstrip is custom-built\, the product of blood\, sweat\, tears and motor oil. The winning car is determined by what's under the hood\, not how it looks or whether it's a traditional hot rod or race car. Drag racing welcomes all makes and models in various divisions and classes. At Ethridge Motorsports Park\, you can catch pro class\, no box class and junior dragster classes race down the 1/8 mile drag strip at great speeds. EMP strives to keep a family friendly track that offers big money events\, fun opportunities for the kids\, and has a great reputation for running things the right way.
